Let’s go for 2020 with everything!

Welcome to my new website: www.annanoguera.es designed by Impulsora Digital, where I hope you find what you are looking for: information about who I am, my career and results, my next goals and / or my sponsors and collaborators. If this is not the case, you also have the option to contact me directly and / or visit my social networks: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube channel …

First of all, I am lucky and happy to say that this is going to be my second season as a professional long distance triathlete, and also the second season in the ranks of the PPR TEAM. This will be possible thanks to them and thanks to EKOI and HOKA ONE ONE. In addition to my coach Ignasi De La Rosa, my family and many other people and brands that collaborate with me and help me on a daily basis.

Even so, the numbers are fair and I depend on my career results to have a salary all year round. And, also, my schedule depends on the help I have to travel abroad and train in good conditions. But I have plenty of motivation and there are legs for a while… I love this sport and the lifestyle I have chosen and I wish to do it for much longer. But first, let’s go for 2020 with everything!

I invite you to follow my blog and the entries that I will post during my training sessions, competitions and other activities that are part of my day to day basis.
In 2019 I lived my best season, competing both internationally in the long distance and in Ironman 70.3 and, obtaining great results such as the Bronze Medal in the ITU Long Distance World Championship and qualifying for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in 2020.

How I plan 2020’s season?

This year I would like to try a new distance for me as it is the Ironman. I want to do the race without pressure to know the distance, since I have never run one yet and I don’t know how I will find myself; what will happen in this heavy distance. I have a lot of respect for it, despite having competed a lot in the middle distance and some competitions in the long distance, in Ironman, I am completely new. I retain the enthusiasm and desire for the first day and, my wish as well as my desire is to continue with this as long as I can.

Finally, I plan to divide the season into two blocks. I would like to do my first Ironman distance combined with other medium distances’ tests in the first half. In the second block, the main objective will be the 70.3 World Championship in Taupo on November 28th. Between the two blocks, I want to make a small break period, to do again a small pre-season in summer and then another training block. Without a break and a physical and mental reset, I see it difficult to extend the season that long. And I want to make sure that I reach the World Championship at my 100%, with lots of motivation and with all my strength. Perhaps, another solution, is to start the season later this year, if we don’t start in April, we’ll start later. Let’s go for 2020 with everything!!!
